This cloud-streamed experience was powered by Nvidia GeForce NOW and used a Discord Activity to connect with Fortnite and initiate a cloud session. Built for reliability and scale, the integration allowed users to start a Fortnite session without downloads, installs, or updates.

Bringing Fortnite into Discord Through Nvidia’s Cloud Gaming Platform

The Fortnite Trial was available across multiple regions and introduced a new way for players to try Fortnite within Discord using Nvidia cloud streaming. PC users who did not have Fortnite installed were able to access two 30-minute sessions per week by linking their Epic Games account and starting a cloud session within Discord. Players could jump into Fortnite with minimal friction and experience the game running at up to 60 frames per second at 1440p resolution through GeForce NOW.
